PHYS 181 - Physics for Scientists and Engineers II
Fall 2021: 3 credits
Lecture in electromagnetism. Coulomb's law, electric and magnetic fields,
Gauss' law, potential, capacitance, current and resistance, electromotive
force, inductance, motion of charged particles, introduction to Maxwell's
equations, and electromagnetic waves.
Prerequisites: MATH 182, PHYS 180. 3 credits.
Grading |
Tests: 70%; Final: 30%
Guaranteed Grades:
A- ( > 90%); B- ( > 80%); C- ( > 70%);
